Joma is a traditional Tajik jacket – one of the most distinctive garments of Central Asian dress, worn for generations in Tajikistan as a light, loose outer layer. In Poland it’s sometimes mistakenly called a “kimono-style jacket” because of its simple, wrap-front cut – in reality, joma has its own, separate tailoring and design tradition, unrelated to Japan.
